5x3: "Jughead"

Richard Alpert? Juliet? Hydrogen bombs? Time travel? I get less excited with each of those things, but you have to understand how excited I am every time Richard Alpert pops up.

For my Google Reader friends, I believe you have to click through to the original post to get to the MP3.

Season 5 Launch

Aaaand we're back. The first two episodes of Season 5. A note for my Google Reader users: the player is not showing up in the Reader (even though I am using the Google Reader player...curious), so you'll have to click through to the actual post. In addition, my iTunes feed is not currently working, but I hope to have that fixed by the morning. Enjoy!

1x6: House of the Rising Sun

The last episode I made it through (recording podcasts or writing posts, at least). I was a long way from the end.

1x5: White Rabbit

Without a doubt, when the Oceanic 6 bring John Locke's body back to the Island, he will live again. In what capacity, I don't know, but he will walk on that Island once more.

1x4: Walkabout

"Walkabout" was recently rated as one of the top five favorite fan episodes. It's easy to see why. That moment when John Locke realizes that he can walk (and we realize what that means) is one of the most emotionally powerful moments in the whole series. It is no wonder that Locke is willing to do anything for the Island that gave meaning back to his life.

1x3: Tabula Rasa

Kate is a fugitive. Remember a time when that simple fact hadn't been beat into our heads with numerous flashbacks? It was actually kind of intriguing. Oh, and a note on the numbering. I mistakenly listed the "Pilot, Part 2" as the second episode. I've found the official episode counts do not list it that way. That means Tabulas Rasa should be the second episode, not the third. All of my entries are off by one.

1x2, Pilot, Part 2

In some ways, it seems like a different show. These people were strangers, and there was little to no hint of what fantastic mysteries lay upon the island. I almost miss it, that sense of staring into the unknown and not knowing what to make of any of it.

1x1: Pilot, Part 1

This is where it all began. And who knows, with all of the time-shifting that is about to occur on the island, this very may well be where it all ends, too.

1x0 Podcast

An introduction to my grand scheme for re-watching every episode of Lost. If only I knew what an undertaking I was presenting for myself.

Re-Launch

So...my plan of re-watching every episode of Lost and writing an analysis did not come to fruition (obviously). I altered my plan and decided to do a podcast analyzing every episode of Lost. That didn't get much further. I will be posting all of those podcast episodes (currently available only on iTunes) and then re-launch God Loved Jacob as a Podcast focusing on the fifth season of Lost (premiering tomorrow). I'm deeply excited about this new season, with its promise of mind-bending time-travel plots. Hopefully God Loved Jacob can keep up.
